Organizations We Support
Let’s Save the Strays Interational
Lets Save The Strays International, LLC is a 501C3 organization dedicated to promoting and teaching people about animal welfare and population control in the most underserved locations across the globe. We go where others do not.
OUR MISSION: Our mission is to support the humane treatment of animals and inspire communities to treat them with respect through community involvement and TNVR (trap neuter vaccinate release) We are a 100% volunteer and private donation based organization working with veterinarians and their teams to perform TNVR and needed medical care on animals living on the streets as strays.
THE WHY: Because all over the world, dogs, especially, are facing unbelievable neglect, starvation and are not able to access even the most basic level of humane care. This is not because it is not wanted, it is because most of the countries we work with have no resources, no government funding, no chance of offering a better life for these sweet souls. We take on the worst cases of animal neglect and suffering because they deserve better.
Maui Humane Society
Maui Humane Society’s mission is to protect and save the lives of Maui’s animals, accepting all in need, educating the community, and inspiring respect and compassion towards all animals.
An estimated 3,000 animals are missing in the Lahaina area. Maui Humane Society has been working around the clock at their facility, at evacuation shelters across the island and on the ground in Lahaina. Maui Humane Society is working with local and national organizations to efficiently and effectively cover the allowed area to help as many people, pets and lost animals in Lahaina.
Harbin SHS Animal Rescue
We began rescuing animals in July of 2016, when we took in a handful of dogs and were absolutely petrified and inexperienced. We learnt as we went, and with each case came new experience. Our numbers quickly increased, and the vast amount of animals in need came apparent. It immediately became obvious to us that this is what we want to do long term, as a team. With over 4,000 animals now having come through our rescue, and with more followers, volunteers and partnership rescues supporting our efforts, we want each year to see even more animals finding safety, receiving treatment and getting their well deserving and overdue happily ever afters.
We have had a ‘Safehouse’, a safe location based in Harbin, China, since 2018. Sadly, over the years we have outgrown this facility, initially built for 120 animals, with 600 currently in our care. This year, 2022, we decided to expand, and build a bigger and better facility for our animals. We are currently undergoing renovations, and fundraising for this new improved Safehouse, which will help so many more lives.
As there are no legislative protections in place for animals in China, we dedicate our efforts to rescuing animals from the illegal black-market Meat Trade, along with local abuse, neglect and abandonment cases. With the help of our amazing flight volunteers and Partner Rescues, our survivors are able to leave China and find loving forever homes all over the world.
